Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Lodi Elementary

Welcome to Lodi Elementary School!
My name is Eric Scheunemann and I am honored to be the principal of Lodi Elementary School.
This is my fourth year at LES/OSC and my 21st in education. I was an elementary physical education teacher for seventeen years in Sauk Prairie. Six of those seventeen years I also served as a Dean of Students part-time while continuing to be a physical education teacher. In 2022 I was fortunate to be selected as the Lodi Elementary School and OSC Charter School principal and am so grateful to serve the staff, students, and families of the Lodi Community.
My wife, Rachel Scheunemann, is a Reading Interventionist in Sauk Prairie. She taught in Lodi for seven years before joining me in Sauk Prairie. We have always valued the team of educators in the School District of Lodi. We have seven children. Three girls and four boys. Our oldest daughter recently had our first grandchild. There is something truly special about being a grandparent. We have two cats, Archie and Frankie. During my free time I love to be fish, hunt, hike, play with my kids, and travel with my family.
LES/OSC is a student-centered 3rd-5th grade school with highly effective educators who value people, conversations, and growth. We focus on developing positive relationships because people matter. The work we do is important but it is not more important than the students we teach and the families we serve. We value the support and partnerships we have with our families and community. Our belief is that learning is fostered best within community, not in isolation. We leverage our partnerships to help us connect with and know our students so we can nurture every student’s full potential.
I look forward to working with all of our families at LES/OSC!
